On Wednesday February 14th, Christians around the world will begin a 40-day journey of identification with Jesus, repenting of sin, and practicing a discipline of fasting. It’s Ash Wednesday (and not just Valentine’s Day). A Lenten discipline doesn’t need to be a fast, a subtraction from your life. It can also be adding to your life (and thus sacrificing time). I encourage you to add the discipline of daily prayerfully reading scripture with me. Each day from Ash Wednesday through to Easter Sunday, I will post a reading about Jesus from different books in the Bible. The theme is Behold the Lamb of God. Join me each day and take a deep look at Jesus the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.
Meditations will begin on Wednesday, February 14th.

Lent begins with Ash Wednesday on February 14. Daily meditations from Scripture on the theme Behold the Lamb of God will be posted in this space through Easter Sunday, March 31. Take time out to daily reflect on different passages of scripture that focus attention on Jesus, the Messiah, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.
