Jesus' Family Tree: Daily meditations for Advent.

Advent begins on November 27th and daily meditations to help us prepare to celebrate Christmas with great joy will be posted here.

The focus this Advent is on various members of Jesus' Family Tree (also our mothers and fathers in the faith).  Some family members are well-known, Abraham, Sarah, David and thus we often merely gloss over their stories, rarely pausing to reflect deeply and learn from them.  Some are little-known, the unloved Leah, the despicable Manasseh, saintly Josiah and the women who stood up for themselves to ensure justice was done.  Their stories may surprise and hopefully will encourage you as you journey to a celebration of the birth of Jesus, the Savior of the World.
